Biography:  I am a full blood United Keetoowah Band Cherokee member and I work in the American Indian Recruitment at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Education is very important to me and I am a year away from obtaining my Master's of Education degree in Teaching. I believe education is a key to creating a better life for ourselves and that knowledge makes us all equals. I also feel that education is not limited to the confines of four walls. I chose to work at Bacone College because of the commitment the school has to it's Native students. The school has recommitted itself to it's mission statement of providing an educational opportunity for Native People in a culturally diverse environment. I wanted to be a part of the change that's happening at Bacone and I want to be a part of providing opportunities for American Indian students.

Hobbies/Interests: Reading, basket weaving, writing, photography, learning new skills, gaining knowledge, Native American art, crafting, Indigenous studies, educational theories, learning styles, spending time with my family.
