Scholarship Programs

Bacone College is committed to helping students earn a college degree. Because of this commitment, over 90% of Bacone students receive some form of financial aid, including scholarships, to help them meet the costs of a college education. Scholarships are available in all academic degree programs, student athletic programs, and through many extracurricular programs on campus (see the list below). Some of Bacone's scholarships are merit-based while many others are need-based. Please contact the appropriate office also identified below to obtain eligibility requirements for a particular scholarship. (Completion of the FAFSA is required)

Bacone Scholars Society (Residency Required):  Merit based scholarship covering full tuition. Must meet 2 of 3 criteria for initial eligibility. For more information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 918-781-7340 or visit http://www.bacone.edu/admissions/

  1. A minimum ACT composite score of 24;

  2. A high school GPA of at least 3.75;

  3. High school standing within the top 10% of graduating class.

Members of the Bacone Scholars Society are expected to participate in various leadership roles on campus such as Student Government Association, the Baconian Newspaper, Campus Ambassador's, etc.  Students will be eligible to participate in special classes, seminars and workshops. At the end of each academic year, students in this scholarship category must have maintained a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Presidential Scholarship (Residency Required): Merit based scholarship covering ¾ tuition. Must meet 2 of 3 criteria for initial eligibility. For more information, please contact the Office of Admissions at 918-781-7340 or visit http://www.bacone.edu/admissions/

  1. A minimum ACT composite score of 23;

  2. A high school GPA of at least 3.50;

  3. High school standing within the top 15% of graduating class. (GPA Requirement to maintain scholarship:  3.25)

At the end of each academic year, students in this scholarship category must have maintained a 3.5 cumulative GPA.
