The interior of our newly renovated chapel at night. The lights on the cross and Dick West's painting of the Indian Last Supper are on 24/7 to remind all who enter of the focus of Bacone College.
The Center hosts two services per week. Bacone Hour, the college’s chapel service is held every Tuesday at 3 p.m. Bacone Hour reflects the diversity of the campus as it is led by four different groups on campus: the American Indian students, the Bacone College Gospel Choir, Praise Team, and the athletes on campus. A highlight of each Fall and Spring semester is a Communion Service led by our Staff. Special Bacone Hours may include the Matriculation Ceremony; a celebration for the Basketball team going to the National Finals, Native Heritage Month and a Celebration of African American Heritage Month; monthly messages by our President; Founders Day; and messages by Christian Ministry students.
Head football coach Laurence Livingston introduces football coaches and members of the team at the Bacone Hour just before the homecoming game held Sept. 29, 2017. Brother Kyle Taylor, minister of Bacone Baptist Church, preached to a packed house.
A student signs their Matriculation certificate, forging a covenant with both God and Bacone College to strive for academic excellence and growing faith throughout the school year.
