Dr. Duncan BioDr. Robert Duncan is a Professor of Religion at Bacone as well as our President.  Dr Duncan brings 20 years of being under appointment in the United Methodist Church in local parish ministry, nursing homes, Christian counseling, and fund raising

Dr. Leroy Thompson BioDr. Leroy Thompson is the Asst Professor of Religion and has spent 30 years in fulltime ministry in local churches.  As a pastor whose ordination has been recognized by the American Baptist Churches in the USA, he brings practical and academic preparation to the classroom.

Study For Ministry

The baccalaureate degree in Christian Ministry strives to provide the Biblical and practical ministry foundations needed for those individuals committed and called to work in the field of mission and ministry. Bacone’s degree program is centered in learning by doing. Students will not simply talk about ministry, but will combine actual ministry experience on the campus, in areas churches, and in mission’s efforts with quality theological studies to make the most complete leader possible. With one of the most ethnically diverse campuses in the state of Oklahoma, studying at Bacone College becomes a four-year experience in ministry training like no other. You will be training for mission in a global environment.
