The Division of Adult Education (DAE) at Bacone College was created to provide learning opportunities for the non-traditional and adult student. The division facilitates offering courses in select degree programs, continuing education, and professional courses in an adult-centered environment. By providing associate and bachelor degree programs, the working adult enhances lifelong skills and appreciation necessary to succeed in a dynamic global economy. The division and its programs offer subject specific single or multiple classes, continuing education, and certification training. All formats are held at times and locations that are convenient for the student. The Division of Adult Education promotes a wide variety of courses while maintaining academic integrity, commitment to American Indian educational opportunity, and spiritual values of the college.
Course Format
All DAE programs are offered in an accelerated format. Each course is 8-16 weeks in length. The division currently provides courses on the main campus, off campus, and online. Students that enroll in nine credit hours per semester are considered full-time.
Concierge Service
Adult Education Assistant Directors provide concierge service to all Adult Education students. They assist students through the admissions, financial aid, and enrollment processes. The Assistant Directors can even arrange to have books and other docu- ments shipped directly to the student.
