The intellectual center of the College is its library, which is located in Samuel Richards Hall. The study areas, listening areas and laptop computers with wireless network access, combined with the availability of books and periodicals, provide an atmosphere condusive to relaxed study.

The library houses the American Indian Collection of primary and secondary works. Rare books, including the private libraries of Alexander Posey and Patrick J. Hurley. Access to this room is available by appointment.

 

 

Online Databases

The library provides access for all Bacone Students to online, full-text databases. Access codes may be needed for access. For complete connection information, please come by the Bacone Library or contact the library at 918-781-7263 or 918-781-7264.

Various writing guides are available to help students in the proper writing format. Among the most popular are:
   APA: psychology, education, and other social sciences.

AMA: medicine, health, and biological sciences.
Turabian: designed for college students to use with all subjects.
Chicago: used with all subjects in the "real world" by books, magazines, newspapers, and other non-scholarly publications.
