Admissions Standards

For most of our history, Bacone College has been “open admissions” and provided educational opportunities regardless of academic preparation. In 1999, Bacone College began its accreditation process to grant Bachelor’s degrees and today observes established academic standards.

Bacone College utilizes academic measurements as the preliminary predictor of academic success. However, though personal letters, references and other documentation, Bacone is able to look at each candidate as an individual upon their own merit.

Bacone is phasing in the academic standards until meeting full Bacone College Board of Trustee recommendation in the fall 2005 term
