How to Apply for Financial Aid |
|||||||||||||
|
All
students should apply for federal assistance though the Free Application
for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Financial Aid Office recommends applying
online for efficient processing by the Department of Education. The URL
for the FAFSA online is www.fasfa.ed.gov
and contains links that allow you to sign your application online.
The FAFSA is the primary application students must complete to be eligible for scholarships, endowments or tribal higher education assistance. Bacone College requires students applying for institutional scholarships to complete a FAFSA. The Title IV number for Bacone College: 003147 Once the Department of Education has processed your FAFSA, they will send you a Student Aid Report (SAR) highlighting the information you submitted and ask for any updates. Listed on the SAR will be two numbers that financial aid offices use to determine your eligibility for grants, work-study and loan programs. Your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) lists the amount of responsibility a family has towards the student’s educational expenses. For more information or assistance with applying for financial
aid, contact the Financial Aid
Office at 888-682-5514 Extension 7340 or by email.
